Williams currently leads the 2016 Victorian Jockeys Premiership by three wins to Dwayne Dunn leading into the final weekend of competition, and is thrilled to have picked up the ride on the John Sadler-trained veteran in the Bletchingly Stakes.

Sadler is pleased with the condition of the horse and to have secured the services of Williams leading into the 2016 Bletchingly Stakes, but concedes he will likely require the run to return to peak condition.

“He had a couple of weeks off in Queensland and did really well and I’ve been very happy with him since he’s been back in work,” Sadler told Racing Victoria.

“I feel the horse will probably need the run as he’s being set for the Peter Lawrence and then the Memsie Stakes.

“Everybody knows his form here at Caulfield over 1400m is pretty good and I think you can dismiss his two runs in Queensland, he obviously doesn’t handle racing in that direction.

“I can see him running well Saturday but I’d have thought he’d need the run. He goes pretty well fresh but I’d be looking at him as a better chance in the Lawrence in a fortnight once he’s had a run.

Charmed Harmony has been a strong and consistent performer for Sadler through his entire racing career so far; posting thirteen wins and a further six minors through a total of thirty-four competitive starts.

Clearly requiring a couple of runs to find form upon resuming this year, the Hussonet gelding placed a credible sixth in the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap (1200m) on March 26rth before finishing a close second in the Group 3 Victoria Handicap (1400m) and winning the Charter Keck Kramer Plate (1400m) most notably.

The 2016 Bletchingly Stakes field and barrier draw is due to be completed and released by midday, Wednesday.
